According to designer, John Beckmann, the culture is obsessed with violence, speed and death. so he thought it would be fitting to design a collection of lamps that would be appropriate for these values. These lamps are a kind of Dadaist prank, following the sugggestion by Marcel Duchamp – ‘take something and do something to it.’
